The State of Illinois amended the Illinois Human Rights Act (IHRA) now requiring all Illinois employers with one or more employees to provide sexual harassment prevention training by December 31, 2020 and once per year going forward. We are offering certified training for free in partnership with the Lake Land College Center for Business and Industry (Lake Land College-CBI). Bonnie Moore, who is the Director of the Center and a member of the Mattoon Chamber Board of Directors, produced the training. We are grateful for all the help Bonnie and Lake Land College has provided in the creation and production of the training.
If you know of non chamber members who are interested in receiving access to the training materials, they can contact us and we will provide the materials for a $150 fee. All of the proceeds of the $150 non member fee for the training will go towards the Mattoon Chamber Charitable Corporation to help fund scholarships for seniors in the Mattoon School District

We are trying to track utilization of the training, so please let us know how many associates will be taking the training and completing the certification documentation.
